Hopefully all of you readers know the name Casey Anthony. If you don’t know who she is, she was recently on trial for allegedly murdering her two-year-old daughter. She was found not guilty by the jury, and has since been in hiding from the press. I can’t say that I blame her either. Whether you agreed with the outcome of her case or not, I feel like it is a good case to look at from a PR stand point. The question being, should she speak to the press or not? Both sides of the decision have their pros and cons.
If she were to talk to the press about the trial, she may change people’s minds about her. People might believe her during a one-on-one interview. However, it might also be bad for her. The interviewer may ask leading questions that make it seem like she is guilty.]
If she stays in hiding people may very well forget about the whole situation. But then she’ll never have got to tell her side of the story. What do you guys think she should do?
—On a side note, I personally think that she is just as guilty as O.J. Simpson was, but don’t let me influence your responses!
