What do all of the above have in common? They are all things I received free-of-charge as a result of following @Free on Twitter. If there is one thing I love in this world, it is free stuff.
The process is easy.
With the Twitter account I am positive you own, follow @Free, and the offers will start rolling in. The account tweets brief descriptions and links to (around) four free offers a week. Usually, the deals are very easy to recieve. At most, you will provide your email adress (I have not been spammed by any of the offers yet) or “Like” a Facebook page. You will then be provided with a virtual coupon to print and use, or they will send the product (with free shipping) directly to your house.
Sound too good to be true? Finally it is not! As integrative marketing becomes more and more popular, corporations are embracing social media sites to reach out to their target audience. They also understand that a little incentive goes a long way. It was only a matter of time before @Free was developed to be the mediator between the companies and the consumers.
