Weekend Refreshments

I am running out of thing s to blog about this week. So yes, the weekend refreshments are back. Hope you guys have a fun Halloween weekend!

The secret to dealing with difficult people – We all know that conflict is an unpleasant experience. We get frustrated because the other party doesn’t agree with our opinions and we don’t have any control over it. The only thing we can change is our own perception. It is wise to just step back and to see things in an objective view. Great article!

How a 27 year-old maid makes $150,000 – I love reading an inspirational story like this. Read it. You won’t be sorry! “Keep on pushing forward like Juan did and never let anything stand in your way. Yes, things won’t always go the way you want, but if you keep on trying something has to work out to your benefit.” Very well said!

How to adjust communication to motivate and influence – This is a great topic. When it comes to communicating with our audiences, it is important to tailor the message to their communication styles. Here is my favorite quote from the post, “If you want to lead and influence, you must speak the language your audience already uses.”

Couple lost in corn maze calls 911 – This is hilarious. I just keep thinking why can’t they just walk through the corn plants and get out?
